Tammy was born and raised in Northeast Wyoming. Upon graduating from high school, Tammy attended the University of Wyoming and earned a BA in Education. In 2018, Tammy entered full-time counseling with SFM, and through the years has loved being a part of this growing ministry. In 2023, Tammy attained her certificate in Christian Coaching through the International Christian Coaches Association.

Tammy has been involved in her community as a Young Life leader, a member of Strong Families Strong Wyoming, sits on the board of Wyoming Families First, and has taught Healthy Relationship classes to high school students.

Tammy and her husband have four grown children and 5 grandchildren.
